Nan Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pastoral leadership and education. Currently serving as a Retired Elder for the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church since July 2019, Nelson previously held positions as an Ordained Elder in Full Connection and Senior Pastor at Clarendon and Holly Grove United Methodist Churches from July 2013 to July 2018, and Senior Pastor at Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church and Pleasant Grove UMC Jonesboro. Additionally, Nelson contributed to the academic field as Faculty at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas from 2001 to 2011, serving as both full-time and adjunct faculty in Business and Information Systems. Educational credentials include a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary, an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
