Andrew Kilmer

Data Analyst Medicare Lead at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield

Andrew Kilmer has a diverse work experience across various companies. Andrew started their career as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Census Bureau in 2000 and worked there until 2008. Andrew then joined PwC as an Associate in the Economics and Statistics group for a year. After that, they worked as a Health Economics Data Analyst at UPMC Health Plan from 2009 to 2013. Kilmer then joined Valence Health as a Clinical Guidelines Analyst and later as a Data Scientist in Analytic Services. Andrew worked on developing clinical guidelines and measures, including HEDIS and custom measures. In 2017, Kilmer joined Evolent Health where they held the roles of Associate Director, Quality Analytics and Associate Director, Data Science and Development. Andrew was responsible for analysis, reporting, and building complex reports in SAS. In 2023, they joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Data Analyst Medicare Lead.

Andrew Kilmer has a Master of Science degree in Statistics from The George Washington University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Penn State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition, Andrew has obtained various certifications, including Introduction to Python, Introduction to Data Science in Python, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and a certificate of completion in Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Advanced. Andrew also completed SAS Advanced Programming in 2011 and SAS Base Programming in 2009, as well as Actuarial Exam 1/P in 2007.
