Ruth Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in fundraising, business services, and income generation within the charitable sector. Currently serving as Head of Business Services at ARK Consultancy Ltd since November 2021, Ruth previously held the position of Head of Fundraising at Compton Care and Head of Income Generation and Marketing at Age UK Shropshire Telford and Wrekin. Ruth’s expertise extends to the management of comprehensive fundraising strategies, including major donor cultivation and grant acquisition, as demonstrated during tenure as Fundraising Manager at The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust. Ruth began their career in media as a journalist for Shropshire Newspapers Limited and has a strong educational background with a PGCE and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds.
