Mark Weise is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and development within the field of natural resource management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Operations/Development at Arizona State Parks and Trails since December 2019, Mark manages park operations and construction services, providing leadership and oversight for various statewide projects. Previously, Mark held multiple positions at the Arizona Game and Fish Department from December 1991 to December 2019, including Development Branch Chief, where responsibilities included budgeting, project oversight, and coordination of engineering services. Mark's background features work in law enforcement program coordination and habitat development, along with significant involvement in wildlife management. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science from The Pennsylvania State University and has completed multiple leadership training programs, including the National Conservation Leadership Institute.
