Mike George has extensive experience in planetarium operations and science communication. Currently serving as a Solar System Ambassador at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since December 2016, Mike inspires public engagement with space exploration missions. As the Senior Manager of Planetarium and Science Visualization at Arizona Science Center since February 2001, Mike oversees the Dorrance Planetarium's daily operations and creates scientifically accurate visualizations. Additionally, Mike held the roles of Director of Theaters Experience and Planetarium Producer at various institutions, including Bishop Museum and LodeStar Astronomy Center. Educational achievements include a degree from Clemson University, completed in 1996, and a diploma from Irmo High School, graduated in 1987.
