Robert Skankey is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in various high-stakes roles. As a SAR Pilot for the Arizona Department of Public Safety since May 2021, Robert supports law enforcement and safety operations across Arizona. Prior experience includes serving as a Pilot for Air Methods, where responsibilities included piloting air-ambulance helicopters and ensuring a safe operating environment as a Field Safety Representative. Robert's military career in the USMC encompassed multiple leadership roles, such as Operations Officer and Director of Safety and Standardization at MCAS Yuma, where notable achievements included executing safety programs and planning major events. Educated with a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Northern Arizona University, a certification as an Aviation Safety Officer from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University, Robert combines technical expertise with safety management skills.
