Jim Corbett's work experience spans several roles in the construction industry. Jim began their career as a Construction Project Manager and CM at CCA Limited from 1994 to 1999. Jim then joined Turner Construction as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed various large and award-winning projects until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, Corbett served as the Director of Construction Services at Interior Dynamics. Jim later worked as the Director of Architectural Products and Construction at AIREA Inc. from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, they joined AVI-SPL as a Project Manager before moving on to Bluewater Technologies in 2013, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager and assisted in Operations management. From 2008 to 2011, Corbett owned their own construction company, JCorbettcompany, providing construction services and materials. In 2015, they joined Midwest Steel, where they served as Business Development Manager and Senior Project Manager until 2021. Jim then joined Cre8tive Construction Concepts, Inc. as the Director of Business Development from March to November 2021. Currently, Corbett holds the position of Director of Business Development at Aristeo Construction, a family-owned construction company.

Jim Corbett attended Ferris State University from 1982 to 1987. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management Engineering and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architectural Technology.
