Rien den Boer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in vision systems and digital technology. Since January 1992, Rien has served as the General Manager and Senior Vision Designer at Aris bv, focusing on the design architecture of vision systems and project management. Previously, as a Vision Architect, Rien was instrumental in creating and implementing vision systems for the food and agriculture sectors, notably developing an orchid inspection system utilizing advanced image analysis. Rien's earlier career includes a role as a Vision Developer at HTH, where contributions were made to pioneering vision applications and high-quality digital cameras, and a position at Philips NV, engaged in the predevelopment of digital TV architecture. Rien den Boer holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned between 1978 and 1985.
