Siggeir Vilhjalmsson currently serves as the Deputy MD of Retail Banking at Arion banki since February 2023. Prior to this role, Siggeir spent over 14 years at Landsbankinn, holding the position of Senior Director in Retail Banking and Corporate Business Solutions. Siggeir's career began at Landsbanki, where responsibilities included a position as Senior Business Analyst from May 1998 to October 2008. Siggeir completed an MBA at Háskóli Íslands between 2006 and 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Reykjavik University, complemented by foundational education at Verzlunarskóli Íslands from 1991 to 1995.
