Sumit Agarwal is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology, cybersecurity, and military operations. Currently serving as CEO and Co-founder of Ario since December 2022, Sumit focuses on creating innovative solutions for busy individuals, particularly parents. Previously, Sumit was a Partner at Shield Capital, where efforts were directed toward supporting emerging entrepreneurs, and held significant roles at F5 and Shape Security, contributing to market-leading advancements in cybersecurity. A retired Major from the United States Air Force, Sumit also served in key positions within the Department of Defense, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under the Obama administration. Sumit's early career at Google involved leading mobile product management initiatives, alongside earlier roles in venture capital and start-ups. Sumit holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Military Operations from the United States Air Force - Air University.
