Rosa Chavez Bustios has a comprehensive and diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rosa began their career in 1987 with the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holding various diplomatic positions until 1991. Rosa then went on to serve as the Head of Mission and Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Bolivia to the United Nations and other international organizations from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they worked as the Director of Export Promotion at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bolivia from 1996 to 1999.
In 1999, Rosa transitioned to a role as the Head of Embassy and Counsellor at the Bolivian Embassy in Rome, Italy, where they served until 2000. From 2001 to 2004, they held a similar position as the Head of Embassy and Minister Counsellor at the Bolivian Embassy to the Kingdom of The Netherlands.
Rosa's international consulting career began in 2004 when they joined the SECO State Secretariat for Economic Affairs - Swiss Confederation as an International Consultant. Rosa then worked as an International Consultant at SOCICAN in 2008 and Echinoccio SL from 2005 to 2008.
In 2008, Rosa joined ARI Network Services, Inc. as an International Advisor, assisting OEMs with ARI's SaaS products and DaaS services. Rosa later moved into the role of an International Senior Sales Executive in 2013, where they focused on consulting and developing business projects in various industries including agricultural, garden and power, as well as vehicle and motorcycles industries.

Rosa Chavez Bustios has pursued education in various institutions. Rosa attended the Diplomatic Academy where they studied International Relations and Affairs. Additionally, they received a Specialization in Multilateral trade law from the General Agreement of Tariffs and Trade GATT. Rosa also studied Economics and Trade at Sapienza Università di Roma and obtained a degree in International Policy from Université libre de Bruxelles, focusing on International Relations and Affairs.
