Alaina Peterson

Director, Global Translational And Biopharma Business Development at Arima Genomics

Alaina Peterson has a diverse range of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Alaina is currently employed as the Director of Global Biopharma Business Development at Arima Genomics. Prior to this role, they worked at Bio-Techne as the Commercial Leader for Cell and Gene Therapy Immunoassays for the Americas, where they also held the positions of Immunoassay Specialist and Field Application Scientist.

Before joining Bio-Techne, Peterson worked at Quad Technologies as a Field Applications Scientist, specializing in Immunotherapy and Bioprocessing. In this role, they developed and maintained relationships with key customers, provided training and support, and contributed to internal research and development projects.

Alaina also gained experience at bluebird bio as a Senior Associate Scientist in Immunotherapy, and at Sanofi as an Associate Scientist in Bioassay Development for Global Biotherapeutic Vaccines.

Earlier in their career, Peterson worked at Cell Signaling Technology as a Research Associate, first in Flow Cytometry and later in Antibody Development and Validation. In these positions, they gained expertise in cell culture techniques, antibody validation, and project management.

Throughout their career, Peterson has demonstrated a strong skill set that includes technical expertise, customer support, protocol development, and project management.

Alaina Peterson attended Rockport High School for their secondary education. Alaina then enrolled at the University of Tampa for a year, studying biology. Afterwards, they transferred to Salem State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical and Chemistry in 2011. Alaina furthered their education at the University of Saint Joseph from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Cell and Molecular.
