Firdoushi Islam is an experienced professional in the fields of enterprise development and sustainable practices, currently serving as the District Enterprise Development Executive at ARIAS Society since October 2022. Prior to this role, Firdoushi held the position of Young Professional at Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission Society from December 2019 to October 2022. Earlier experience includes work as a Project Fellow at G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development, focusing on enhancing eco-cultural livelihoods in biodiversity-rich areas of Arunachal Himalayas from December 2018 to November 2019. Firdoushi also completed an internship at WWF-India in mid-2017. Firdoushi holds a Master of Arts degree in Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, earned between 2016 and 2018.
