Currently serving as CTO and CIO at Argus Media since August 2018, Meltem previously held senior leadership roles at John Wiley and Sons as VP of Platform Capabilities, leading the development of innovative digital publishing solutions, and VP of Smart Content Strategy at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities included transforming content organization and accessibility. Meltem's career spans various positions, including VP of Software Development at Thomson Financial and I/B/E/S International Inc., overseeing large development teams and core technology assets. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology, and PhD candidacy in Computer Science at New York University.
