Dana Price serves as the CFO of Area9 Lyceum joining in May 2021. Prior to this she was CFO of Kenzie Academy, a VC-backed EdTech startup that taught the underserved, which was sold to Southern New Hampshire University in March 2021. Dana has worked at McGraw-Hill Education, and held Chief Financial Officer roles at several firms, including Commonwealth Business Media where she helped sell the private equity backed portfolio company to United Business Media. Dana spent a number of years at Primedia in both a financial and M&A capacity. She has worked on over 100 transactions on the buy and sell sides as well as the integration of acquisitions. Dana is passionate about Entrepreneurship and chocolate chip cookies. Dana began her career at Deloitte, holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton and a MBA from Cornell University. She is also a CPA.
