Dato' Stewart LaBrooy is a prominent figure in the real estate sector, serving as the Director and Founder of AREA Real Estate Advisors since January 2016 and as Chairman of Alpha REIT Managers Sdn Bhd since April 2017. With a focus on supporting education operators in Malaysia through innovative asset-light strategies, Dato' LaBrooy established an unlisted REIT called Alpha REIT with an initial portfolio of RM 305 million. Additionally, Dato' LaBrooy holds the position of Executive Chairman at AREA Management Sdn Bhd and is a Board Member of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association, where efforts are directed toward enhancing investment and best practices within the region. Previous leadership roles include Chairman of the Malaysian REIT Managers Association and Chief Executive Officer of Axis REIT Managers Bhd, reflecting a sustained commitment to advancing the real estate industry.
