Roy T. Barker is a seasoned structural engineer and manager with extensive experience in structural design and construction administration across various sectors, including biotech, pharmaceuticals, light and heavy industry, and commercial facilities. Currently serving as Structural Group Lead at Ardurra since June 2019, Roy has also held the position of Structural Engineer and Office Manager at Criser Troutman Tanner Consulting Engineers since January 2006. Previously, Roy was a Structural Group Leader at O'Neal Inc. and Lockwood Greene, where responsibilities included leading structural design efforts, managing scopes of work, engineering budgets, and staffing. Roy holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
