Ben Nicholas, P.E., is a seasoned transportation engineer currently employed at Ardurra since December 2022, previously serving in similar roles at Gresham Smith from March 2016 to December 2022. At Gresham Smith, Ben supported senior engineers in the design and planning of various infrastructure projects, served as the primary designer for sidewalk improvements for Metro Nashville Public Works, and held the position of Transportation Engineer in Training. Prior experience includes roles as Junior Project Engineer at Phillips & Jordan, Inc., where project tracking and subcontractor management were key responsibilities, and internships at Geosyntec Consultants, Terra Contracting Services, URETEK Holdings, and the University of Tennessee. Educationally, Ben earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2015.
