John Owens has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started as a Design Engineer at Amphenol Ardent Concepts in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Engineer at PPC Broadband, Inc. - A Belden Brand from 2020 to 2020, where they designed mechanical components for broadband fiber optic connectors. John also has experience as an Engineering Co-Op at Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc. in 2019, where they utilized Autodesk Inventor to design fixtures for manufacturing and gained knowledge of design for manufacturing principles. Before transitioning into engineering roles, John worked as a Mechanic at Marty's Reliable Cycle from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they served as the President of RIT Cycling from 2016 to 2019.

John Owens attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2021. During this time, they pursued studies in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their education, John Owens also obtained the Eagle scout certification from the Boy Scouts of America in August 2016.
