Ed Hanway is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Arcturus since February 2024. Prior to this role, Ed held the position of Development Manager at Microsoft in the Mixed Reality Capture Studios from January 2017 to February 2024. Ed's career includes significant tenures at Industrial Light & Magic as both R&D Supervisor and Senior R&D Engineer, as well as roles at Thomson Grass Valley as Software Architect and at Thomson Multimedia in Film Imaging Products as Principal Software Engineer. Earlier experience encompasses positions at Philips Digital Video Systems and Eastman Kodak Company, where Ed excelled as a Senior Software Engineer. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.
