Nicolas Le Bel is a seasoned professional with a strong background in cryptography and blockchain technology. Currently serving as a Rust Cryptography Engineer at Elusiv Association, Nicolas leads the development of a pure Rust multiparty computation protocol. As a Co-Founder of RETpositive, Nicolas plays a vital role in cancer support and research fundraising, actively collaborating with oncology experts to select research grant proposals. Previous experience includes working as a Blockchain Engineer at Sygnum Bank, where responsibilities encompassed developing a tokenization web3 stack and conducting research on privacy-enhancing technologies. Nicolas also held research positions at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center and IBM, focusing on simulation tools for tumorigenesis models and explainable deep neural network engineering, respectively. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Theoretical and Computational Physics from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from EPFL.
