James Akins has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Service Manager at Archrock since August 2022. Prior to this role, James held the position of Maintenance Foreman at Four Corners Petroleum II from November 2016 to August 2022 and previously at Whiting Petroleum Corporation from February 2006 to October 2016. James began their career as a Generator Technician at Central Detroit Diesel, where skills in maintaining diesel and gas powered electrical generators and power transfer switches were developed from March 2001 to February 2006. James holds a degree in Diesel Technology from Southwest Kansas Technical School, completed in 2001.
