Ekke Tõiv Uustalu has been working in the tech industry since 2013. Ekke Tõiv began their career as a Tech Support for Elion Enterprises Ltd. In 2013, they also took on a Software Developer role at Digital Sputnik. In 2016, they became a Teaching Assistant at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. In 2017, they took on a Full-stack Developer role at UNIspotter. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Open Systems. In 2020, they took on a Senior Software Engineer role at Archlet, as well as a Head of Product and Co-founder role at Planyard.

Ekke Tõiv Uustalu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology between 2012 and 2015. Ekke Tõiv then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Systems and Engineering at the same institution, which they completed in 2018. In June 2022, Uustalu received a Sales Academy Certificate of Sales Mastery from Google for Startups EU.
