Arek van Schaijk currently serves as Director IT and Solutions Architect at Archipel Academy since March 2023. Previously, Arek held the position of IT Manager at Edubookers from August 2019 to February 2023, overseeing the online availability and development of the booking platform while managing the development team and ensuring information security. Arek's experience includes roles at Cobytes B.V. and UCREATION, where impactful web projects were delivered, including over 100 websites and applications for municipalities and high-profile clients. Additional freelance positions in development and DevOps enriched Arek's technical expertise, particularly in TYPO3 environments and CI/CD processes. Arek's educational background includes a degree as an Mbo Assemblagetechnicus from the Regionaal Opleidingen Centrum (ROC) completed between 2005 and 2007.
