Sandra Price has over 15 years of experience in the field of child welfare and protection. Sandra began their career in 2002 as a Case Manager/Contracted Supervisor at the Missouri Alliance for Children & Families, providing wrap-around case management services to foster children. Sandra was later promoted to a Contracted Supervisor role. In 2006, Sandra joined the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery as a Senior Program Coordinator, where they managed the daily operations of two facilities providing care for at-risk children. In 2011, they joined the Archdiocese of St. Louis as the Director of the Safe Environment Program, overseeing child abuse prevention efforts. In 2017, their role expanded to become the Executive Director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection, where they became the point of contact for all abuse-related reports and provided consultation on abuse matters. Throughout their career, Sandra has been involved in compliance audits, trainings, and ensuring federal law compliance related to child protection.
Sandra Price holds a Master's degree in Social Work, which they obtained from Saint Louis University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Child Protection: Children's Rights in Theory and Practice" from Harvardx on edX in September 2020.
