Mike Thorn, MBA, has extensive experience in financial management, having held key positions in various organizations since the late 1980s. Currently serving as Operations Accounting Manager at the Archdiocese of Chicago since May 2014, Mike previously worked as Business Finance Manager at Sears Holdings Corporation, where responsibilities included financial reporting and analysis for the Merchandise Division. Previous roles include Global Finance Manager at Intertek, providing oversight in a global testing firm, and Manager Client Financial Services at CVS Caremark Corporation, managing a team focused on credit analysis and collections. Mike’s career also includes experience as a consultant at SolomonEdwards, financial analysis roles at Duff & Phelps Credit Rating and Transamerica, and responsibilities within the credit function. Mike holds an MBA in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
