Kuntal RoyChowdhury is a seasoned professional in the field of internal assurance and finance, with over two decades of experience. Currently serving as General Manager of Internal Assurance and Global Head of Mining & Corporate Audits at ArcelorMittal since April 2006, Kuntal has previously held the position of Manager of Internal Assurance at Mittal Steel Ostrava from 2003 to 2006. Earlier in the career, Kuntal worked at INDAL from 1993 to 2002, progressing from Management Trainee in Finance to Senior Executive of Internal Audit and then to Senior Manager of Finance & Company Secretary at UAIL. Kuntal holds the ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ACS from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and AICWA from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
