Juan Ignacio Marcuello Salto is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in international commercial law, procurement, and corporate legal management. Currently serving as Head of Legal for Procurement and CAPEX and previously as Senior Legal Counsel at ArcelorMittal since January 2019, Juan Ignacio has demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts, M&A, finance, and litigation across a global corporate level. Prior to this role, Juan Ignacio was the Head of Legal at CAT Groupe for the Iberian region, where responsibilities included establishing a new legal department and managing contracts. Earlier legal experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at ArcelorMittal, where Juan Ignacio addressed high-risk international transactions and corporate matters. Juan Ignacio's academic background includes ongoing PhD studies in Private International Law and a Master's degree in European Union Law. Teaching engagements include roles as an assistant professor at the China - EU School of Law.
