Dr. Shilton Rica is an experienced professional in geotechnical engineering and project management, currently serving as Project Development Manager at ArcelorMittal since February 2020, focusing on sales and marketing for sheet piles. Dr. Rica has held various technical sales and engineering positions across the EU13, CIS, Caspian, and Balkan regions, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and design engineering for worldwide projects. In addition to industry roles, Dr. Rica contributes to academia as a lecturer in Soil Mechanics at the University of Luxembourg and has completed a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, specializing in deep foundations. Dr. Rica's research experience includes guest researcher roles and collaborations for numerical simulations and geotechnical analysis in prominent organizations such as Deltares and Proman USA, Inc.
