Balaji Somvanshi has over 29 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as General Manager Procurement at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India since August 2004. Prior to this role, Balaji held the position of Senior Procurement Manager at Universal Comfort Product Private Limited from August 2003 to July 2004 and worked as Engineer-II Procurement at Videocon Appliances Limited Aurangabad from November 1995 to July 2003. Balaji began the professional career as a Graduate Management Trainee at GANAGE PRESSINGS PRIVATE LIMITED from October 1994 to November 1995. Balaji holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
