Lynne Cannon ’68 was elected to the Board of Trustees at Arcadia University in 2016. She graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and holds her Master of Education in Organizational and Counseling Psychology from Columbia University where she pursued doctoral studies.. She has been an instructor at the University of Michigan Business School in the executive education programs, and worked as a consultant at the Columbia University Business School.
Lynne founded the Princeton Management Development Institute, and in addition she has held the position of Global Sr. VP of Human Resources for Novartis and has served as a Global Sr. Vice President of Human Resources for Bristol Myers-Squibb. From 2011 -2022 Lynne was on the Board of 1st Constitution Bank. For 17 years, Lynne has been on the Board of Trustees of the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center at Hamilton and served as Vice Chair for four years and Chairman for four years. In addition, she was on the Board of RWJ Healthcare System (in New Brunswick) for eight years. Also, Lynne was nominated by the New Jersey AHA and then elected to the National American Hospital Association Board’s Committee on Governance.
Lynne has been the recipient of the New Jersey Hospital Association’s System Trustee of the Year Award, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Community Leadership Award , Mercer County Community College Spirit of Education Award.
