Jodie Tran is an active and engaged student currently enrolled at Arcadia High School, pursuing a variety of leadership and internship opportunities. As the Historian for the Arcadia Civic Youth Council, Jodie manages website content and collaborates on community campaigns aimed at youth engagement. In the role of Digital Communications Intern at Arcadia Unified School District, Jodie contributes to the Public Information Office while sharpening communication skills. Additional experience includes a Summer Internship at Socal Plastic Surgery Med Center, where over 70 hours were spent learning clinic operations, updating medical records, and assisting patients. Jodie also serves as the Sophomore Historian for the Associated Student Body, generating over $3,000 through fundraising initiatives, and captains the Varsity Humorous Interpretation and Duo Interpretation teams for the National Speech & Debate Association, promoting public speaking skills among peers. Involvement with the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles underscores Jodie's commitment to leadership development and community service.
