Katherine Gomes, CA, currently serves as Vice President and Controller at ARC Resources Ltd., a position held since February 2010, where responsibility includes leading a team of 25 in the preparation and review of financial accounting and reporting, as well as accounting policy research and implementation under IFRS. Prior to this role, Katherine was the Manager of Financial Reporting at Harvest Operations Corp from April 2007 to February 2010, overseeing financial statement preparation, MD&A, and public disclosures, while managing the transition from Canadian GAAP to IFRS. Katherine also held the Manager of Financial Reporting position at Viking Energy Royalty Trust from April 2005 to February 2006, focusing on financial statements and technical accounting research. Katherine Gomes holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Haskayne School of Business.
