Jason Callister has a range of work experience starting in 2003 with Lloyds TSB Offshore, where they held various positions until 2007. Jason then worked for AIB from 2007 to 2011, primarily in a business development and marketing role. From 2011 to 2015, they worked for the Isle of Man Government, initially as a web services developer and later as an enterprise application developer. In 2017, they became a self-employed creator of ArcaidVR, a suite of software for independent arcade owners. Jason then joined the Isle of Man Government again in 2015, first as a software developer and later as a senior software developer. In 2018, they joined SpringboardVR as a full-time contractor, working as a .Net software developer until 2021. Currently, they are employed by ArborXR as a lead device developer since February 2021.
Jason Callister attended Ramsey Grammar School from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their GCSE's. Jason has since obtained several certifications, including the "70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications" and "MCSA: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Web Applications" from Microsoft in November 2016. In April 2016, Jason also acquired the "Umbraco Level 2" certification from Umbraco. Prior to that, in March 2015, they obtained the "70-480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" certification, as well as the "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" certification from Microsoft. Finally, Jason also holds a "Foundation Certificate in User Experience" from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
