Amy Duval Carlson has a diverse work experience in the legal field, with their most recent role being the General Counsel at the Arbor Day Foundation starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HomeServices of Nebraska from March 2016 to June 2022, holding various positions including President of HomeServices Title and General Counsel of HomeServices of Nebraska. From March 2016 to January 2020, they also served as the Regional General Counsel at HomeServices of America. Before joining HomeServices, Amy worked at Nationwide Insurance for over 14 years, starting as a Litigation Representative in May 2002 and eventually becoming the Assistant General Counsel - Lead, overseeing a team of attorneys in personal lines casualty claims. Amy also held the role of Regional Assistant General Counsel, specializing in property and casualty insurance policy, and served as a subject matter expert for multiple states. Amy began their legal career as an Associate at Wolfe, Snowden, Hurd, Luers & Ahl, LLP from August 2001 to April 2002.
Amy Duval Carlson attended Nebraska Wesleyan University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Communication. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend Drake University Law School from 1998 to 2001, and they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree specializing in Law.
