Wendy Yu is currently a Postdoctoral Scientist at Arbele since November 2022. Previously, Wendy served as a Ph.D. Researcher at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, from September 2018 to October 2022, where research focused on neuromodulation treatments for depression and cognitive impairment using rodent models, leading to the publication of four original research articles and five reviews. Wendy's early experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Lim Lee Wei at HKUMed, studying neuronal distribution and neuroplasticity-related gene expression, and as a Summer Intern at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, coordinating a MedTech hackathon. Wendy holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from The University of Hong Kong, complemented by an exchange program at King's College London.
