Mathias Rasmussen is an experienced professional in compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) with a strong background in financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of MLRO at Arbejdernes Landsbank since July 2022, Mathias previously held the position of Managing Compliance Officer at Danske Bank from August 2020 to June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead for Transaction Monitoring Investigation at Nordea, overseeing the corporate AML unit, and specializing in AML and sanctions processing. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Administration from Roskilde University. Additionally, Mathias has served on both the Academic Council and the Educational Committee at Roskilde University, as well as held a supervisory role as Souschef at Netto, Dansk Supermarked.
