Sameer Ayyar is a Lead Corrosion Engineer at Saudi Aramco, serving since March 2014, with extensive experience in providing technical support for large-scale projects, including green and brownfield upstream facilities, spanning values from $1 million to $20 billion. Ayyar's previous roles include Corrosion Specialist at COWI, where responsibilities encompassed design consultancy and project management for various offshore wind farms and bridge projects across multiple countries. Ayyar has also worked as a Cathodic Protection Projects Engineer at Aegis Technical Systems and as a Cathodic Protection Project Engineer at Amran Establishment LLC, managing key projects in the UAE and Oman. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Corrosion Control Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy & Materials Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
