Yumen Hallaq is currently a Researcher at the Syrian Network for Human Rights since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Producer at ArabicPost and as a Field Manager for Mercy-USA for Aid and Development, where responsibilities included contributing to food security programs and managing health and nutrition services for vulnerable populations. Yumen also worked as a Food Security and Livelihood Project Officer at Catholic Relief Services, coordinating field activities and program planning. Previous roles include Field Officer at Adam Smith International, where stakeholder engagement was a key focus, and Researcher at Proximity International, involved in monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Aleppo University.
