Wayne Patterson is an experienced Automation Manager currently seconded to a client as Automation PM for a large domestic hydrogen facility, with a professional history that includes a long tenure at Wood from June 2006 to May 2023. Prior to this, Wayne worked at AspenTech as a multivariable control consultant, specializing in refineries and petrochemical plants, and has held various engineering roles at companies such as Biles and Associates, Dynamic Matrix Control Corporation, Setpoint, Corpus Christi Petrochemical Company, Howe-Baker Engineers, and Texas Eastman Chemicals. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and has demonstrated expertise in advanced process control and process engineering throughout a career spanning several decades.
