Mikhail Petrov has been working in the technology industry since 2014. Mikhail began their career at ООО Интерънис as a Technical Engineering. In 2016, they moved to ООО "Вниихолодмаш-Холдинг" where they worked as a Calculation Engineer. In 2017, they joined Группа компаний Исерв as a Software Test Engineer. In 2018, they moved to ООО МИГАС where they worked as a QA Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Aquiva Labs as a QA Engineer.

Mikhail Petrov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dynamics and Strength of Machines from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) between 2010 and 2014. Mikhail then went on to obtain a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution between 2014 and 2016.
