Nicolai Frank has diverse work experience in various industries. Nicolai started their career in the finance industry as an intern at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG, focusing on corporate clients and direct lending. Nicolai then interned at Bloomberg LP as an Equity Research Analyst before joining Moore Stephens to work in Financial Services Audit. After that, they briefly worked at Commerzbank AG as a Cross Asset Structured Products, New Issue Manager before transitioning to Willis Towers Watson. At Willis Towers Watson, Nicolai served as a Lead Investment Associate, conducting risk analysis, due diligence assessments, and providing business start-up advice for smaller asset managers. Nicolai joined Aquila Capital in 2018 as a Director Real Assets in Investment Management. Nicolai also has experience in academia, having worked as a University Lecturer at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences since 2019.
Nicolai Frank obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Law and Finance from Queen Mary University of London in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Science Bremen in 2008-2012. Nicolai also completed vocational training as an Industriekaufmann (Vocational Training) at Unland GmbH from 2004-2006.
