Lisa Rooney is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Vice President of Finance at Aquila Air Capital since July 2022. Previously, Lisa held the position of Aviation Financial Controller at Investec from April 2020 to July 2022 and the role of Head of Finance at ALTER PHARMA for a short period in 2019. Prior experience includes managing teams and financial operations at Standard Chartered Aviation Finance and Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing aviation lease finance functions, developing financial statements, and establishing financial controls. Lisa began their career with positions at John West Foods and Grove Turkeys Ltd, following a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
