Diego Calderon P.E. has extensive experience in civil engineering, particularly in trenchless technology and infrastructure development. Currently serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington since January 2022, Diego also holds the position of Professional Engineer at Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá ESP, where responsibilities include developing trenchless standards and regulations for water, stormwater, and wastewater construction. Additionally, Diego is a member of the Board of Directors for the Latin American Society for Trenchless Technology, chairing the Colombian Chapter. Previous positions include Project Manager at Stantec, Project Engineer at PEER Consultants, and Staff Engineer at NASSCO, among others. Diego obtained a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander.
