Reginald McDonald has had a diverse range of work experiences. Reginald began their career as a Research Student at the University of Toronto in 2015, and then moved on to various roles at The Hospital for Sick Children, including Clinical Research Assistant and Research Student. During their time there, they contributed to the development of software and algorithms for clinical research tools and co-authored academic publications.
In 2019, Reginald worked as a Junior Software Developer Intern at AppNeta, gaining valuable experience in software development. Reginald also served as a Computer Science Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where they provided guidance and assistance to students and conducted weekly office hours.
Reginald further honed their skills by working as a Software Engineer Intern at Google and Snowflake in 2020. At both companies, they gained hands-on experience in software engineering.
Recently, in 2021, Reginald joined Google as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2023. Reginald was responsible for contributing to software development projects.
Most recently, they have joined Aquatic Capital Management as a Software Engineer, starting in 2023.
Reginald McDonald pursued their education in a highly chronological manner. Reginald first attended the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2017, where they completed an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Biology. Following this, Mr. McDonald enrolled at The University of British Columbia in 2019 and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Computer Science, specializing in the field of Computer Science.
