Raelene Child is an experienced professional currently serving as the Program Director at Leadership Long Beach since July 2020. With a long tenure at the Aquarium of the Pacific beginning in March 2006, Raelene has held various roles, including Manager of Youth Volunteer and Internships, Education Specialist, and Senior Education Associate. Responsibilities have included overseeing multiple youth volunteer programs, delivering educational programming for preK-12 students, and leading public programs such as Whale Watch interpretation and summer camps. Raelene holds a Master of Science in Science Education from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Networking Management from DeVry University.
