Anne Palermo is the co-founder and CEO of Aqua Cultured Foods, a company that has developed a new technology for creating an alternative seafood option through the use of microbial fermentation. This technology has the potential to launch Aqua Cultured Foods as a first mover as an alternative seafood analog alongside the likes of Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods. Anne is also the named/principal inventor of multiple patents.
Prior to their work with Aqua Cultured Foods, Anne was a lecture facilitator at the University of Cambridge, where they taught courses on policy and entrepreneurship.
Anne Palermo has a finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a culinary innovation degree from The French Pastry School.
