Yangfan Lu has a diverse work experience in the field of quantitative finance. In 2013, they started working as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, where they contributed until December 2014. In 2016, they gained experience as a Financial Engineering Summer Intern at Bloomberg LP. Later that year, they became a Teaching Assistant at New York University for the entire year.
