Miriam Cortes currently serves as the Coordinadora del Programa de Aprendizaje e Inclusión at Universidad Católica Silva HenrÃquez since March 2019, where responsibilities include diagnostic processes and support for learning among children and adolescents. In addition to this role, Miriam teaches undergraduate courses in various subjects related to biological bases and neuropsychology at UCSH, Universidad Autónoma de Chile, and Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano. With extensive experience in inclusive education, Miriam leads training programs for teachers through Aptus Chile and directs Fundación Repensar, focusing on improving inclusive processes across educational, social, and labor contexts. Educationally equipped with a Licenciatura in Education, a Master's in Educational Neurosciences, and several diplomas in inclusion and cognitive sciences, Miriam has a diverse background that spans roles in psychopedagogy, special education, and teacher training.
