Zhenhuan Gao is a Software Engineer at Aptos since April 2022, focusing on Blockchain Core Infrastructure and Ecosystem. Prior experience includes a role at the Diem Association from September 2018 to April 2022, where Zhenhuan was a key engineer in the early Diem Blockchain team, responsible for designing and building Diem storage. Zhenhuan also worked at Meta from March 2016 to April 2022, contributing to Ads Ranking Infrastructure by designing a sequenced prediction flow for a multi-stage ads ranking system. Earlier experience includes research and teaching assistant roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a research internship at Cisco in 2014. Zhenhuan holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
